Vercelios shut down — permanently discontinued, delisted from every App Store storefront. If you were using it, you need something else.
The replacements are not interchangeable, and the difference is not the one most roundups focus on.
The split that actually matters#
Almost every app in this category is a remote control for a dashboard. It tells you a build passed, a build failed, a deploy went live. That is genuinely useful, and for a lot of people it is the whole requirement.
A much smaller set watches what it is costing you — bandwidth, build minutes, function invocations, edge requests — and can do something about it.
Those are different products solving different fears. "Did my deploy work?" and "is something burning money right now?" feel similar and are not. Pick based on which one actually wakes you up.

Several of these have zero ratings and recent first releases. That is not disqualifying — everything starts somewhere, MONII included — but Vercelios is a reminder that apps in this category do disappear. Check the last-updated date before you hand over a token.
Picking#
You only run Vercel, and you only want build status#
Take Rev for Vercel or Vero. Both are mature and free to try, and neither asks you to think about billing. This is the majority case and MONII is not the right answer for it.
You only run Netlify#
Netli.fyi is the established option. If usage is your concern rather than deploy status, keep reading — Netlify has no spend cap at all, which makes this the riskier of the two providers to run unwatched.
You run both#
MONII is the only app that merges them. Everything else means two apps, two notification setups, and two places to check at 2am.
Your worry is the bill, not the build#
This is where the category thins out to almost nothing.
Neither Vercel nor Netlify gives you a true hard spend cap. Vercel's spend management is Pro-only and pauses every project on the team. Netlify has none. So the useful capabilities are:
- Usage alerts at a threshold you choose. Netlify offers fixed steps (50/75/90/100%) by email and in-app only. If you want to know at 62%, you need something else.
- The ability to stop it. Not just be told — pause the project, from the notification, without a laptop.
MONII does both, plus rollback, Face ID on env vars, an open-source CLI, and an MCP server so Claude Code or Cursor can check your spend directly.
If you have one Vercel project on Hobby, no card attached, and you only want to know when a deploy fails — a free single-provider client is a better fit and you should use one. MONII earns its place when there is real money on the meter or two providers to keep track of. We would rather tell you that than sell you a subscription you do not need.
What MONII will not do#
Worth stating plainly, since this is a page recommending our own product.
- It is not real-time. Background monitoring polls roughly every 15 minutes, and provider usage data is itself delayed. It shortens the gap between "wrong" and "you know" — it does not close it.
- It is not a hard spend cap. Nothing third-party can be. The meter belongs to the provider.
- Pausing does not refund. It stops new usage. What is already spent is spent.
- iOS only. The CLI and MCP server are cross-platform; the app is not.
Set your provider's own controls as well. MONII is the second alarm, not the only one.
Questions people actually ask
Is there an official Vercel mobile app?
No. Vercel has never shipped one and has given no public indication it plans to. Every option in this category is third-party.
Is there an official Netlify mobile app?
No. Same situation — the Netlify mobile options are all third-party clients.
Which app covers both Vercel and Netlify?
Only MONII, as of August 2026. Every other app in the category is single-provider, so covering both otherwise means running two apps.
Are any of these free?
Several have free tiers. MONII's free tier keeps read access to every connected project plus an emergency alert at 100% of your plan limit; the kill switch, rollback and custom thresholds are paid.
