On Hobby: no. Nothing. Vercel staff confirmed in April 2026 that there is no detection for unusual spikes or patterns on that plan.
Three things worth knowing even on Pro:
You have to configure it. Spend Management is not on by default, and setting an amount only enables notifications — the pause is a separate switch that is off until you turn it on.
The percentages are fixed. If you want to know at 60%, that is not available. See custom percentage alerts.
It arrives slightly late. Vercel checks usage every few minutes, and its docs note notifications can trigger several minutes after you cross the amount.
For Hobby, your options are documented separately — the summary is: poll the billing API yourself, upgrade, or use something external.
